WHO I AM!
My name is Mrs. Sarah Koss. I am very excited to be your child’s teacher and case manager. I would like to begin by telling you a little about myself. I graduated from Monmouth College with a bachelor’s degree in History and Secondary Education and from Western Illinois University with a Master’s degree in Special Education. I am in my 13th year of teaching and have spent most of my career teaching in an alternative high school. This is my first year at ROWVA Elementary and Junior High but my second year as a special education teacher! Outside of school, I am a mom to Whitney, 18 and William, 15. I have been married to my husband Steve for the past 22 years. I love to spend time with my family, reading, camping, chicken keeping and working on our family farm. I also love being a part of the ROWVA community
